Making Therapy Accessible
Understanding the financial side of therapy is an important part of getting started. At Journey Forth MHC, we strive to make the process as clear and straightforward as possible.
We accept several major insurance plans and also offer private pay options for individuals who prefer not to use insurance or whose plans are not currently accepted.

Journey Forth MHC currently accepts the following insurance plans:

Insurance participation may change over time. If you do not see your insurance listed, please contact us. We are happy to verify your benefits or discuss available payment options.
Private Pay
Private pay appointments are available for clients who:
Prefer not to use insurance
Have out-of-network benefits
Do not have insurance coverage
Wish to keep their therapy services separate from their insurance provider

Payment Information
Payment is due at the time services are provided unless other arrangements have been made.
We will discuss payment procedures and answer any billing questions before your first appointment whenever possible.

Questions to Ask Your Insurance Company
If you're planning to use insurance, these questions may help you better understand your coverage:
Is outpatient mental health therapy covered under my plan?
Is Journey Forth MHC or my therapist in-network?
Do I have a deductible?
Has my deductible been met?
What is my copayment or coinsurance?
Is there a limit to the number of therapy sessions covered each year?
Do I need a referral or prior authorization?
Knowing the answers to these questions can help you better understand your financial responsibility before beginning services.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee in accordance with our practice policies. Additional information will be provided during the intake process.
Types of Appointments
Both Telehealth and In-Person appointments are available depending on therapist availability.
Payment Options
Credit cards and debit cards are accepted. Sliding-scale appointments are available if you qualify.
