Support When You Need It Most
You Are Not Alone
If you're reading this because you or someone you care about is struggling, we're glad you found this page.
Difficult moments can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to face them alone. Whether you're experiencing emotional distress, concerns about substance use, overwhelming anxiety, thoughts of suicide, or you're worried about someone else, help is available.
If your needs are not urgent and you're looking for ongoing therapy, Journey Forth Mental Health Counseling welcomes you to contact us to schedule an appointment. We are honored to support individuals as they move toward healing, recovery, and hope.
Journey Forth Mental Health Counseling is not an emergency or 24-hour crisis service.
Messages submitted through our website, email, voicemail, or social media are not monitored continuously and should never be used during a mental health emergency.
If you believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911, go to the nearest emergency department, or use one of the crisis resources listed below.
Emergency or Crisis?
Call 911 if...
Someone's life is in immediate danger.
A suicide attempt has occurred or is in progress.
A person has a medical emergency requiring immediate care.
A person is violent or unable to remain safe.
Emergency responders are needed immediately.
Call or Text 988 if...
You're having thoughts of suicide.
You're experiencing overwhelming emotional distress.
You're having a mental health crisis.
You're worried about a loved one.
You need someone to talk to right now.
You need help finding local crisis resources.
Calling 988 connects you with trained crisis counselors available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their goal is to provide compassionate support, help you stay safe, and connect you with appropriate local services. Calling 988 does not automatically result in emergency responders being sent. Whenever it is safe to do so, counselors work with callers to find the least restrictive and most supportive solution.
